My friend Jonelle posted this http://m.mic.com/articles/116112/there-s-something-chilly-in-the-dating-air-and-it-s-affecting-all-of-our-relationships on facebook with the hashtag #Moderndating. Though it is about  dating,  I see the ‘Chill,’  factor/attitude permeating into all aspects of life.

Call me old fashioned,  but I liked it better when we cared enough to give a shit about something and/or knew what we wanted and weren’t afraid to voice it or go after it.

Some people may see ‘chill’ as having a laissez faire attitude,  I see it as being lazy. You can be indifferent or unsure about something,  but after a while things are pretty clear and decisions should be made, actions should be taken.

You aren’t supposed to ride the train of indecision forever.  As the old saying goes “if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”.
